For almost 20 years, I worked as a corrective exercise specialist. People would come to me after being told they'd never be able to do the things they used to do — that their bodies were just too damaged. And a lot of the time? That wasn't true. With the right approach and the right tools, I watched people do exactly what they'd been told was impossible.
That work taught me something I carry into every therapy session now: we're not broken. We might be hurting. We might need help understanding what's happening inside us. But broken? No.
The shift to mental health felt inevitable. I'd always been the friend people called when things fell apart — the one who could sit with hard stuff without flinching. When I learned about religious trauma and spiritual abuse as clinical specialties, something clicked. I knew immediately that's where I was supposed to be.
Here's the thing — I grew up in a religious household that was actually healthy. Supportive. Safe. But as I got older and met more people, I started seeing how many weren't so lucky. How many had been manipulated, shamed, or controlled by people who claimed to speak for God. Being taken advantage of by someone you trust is bad enough. It's so much worse when it's done in His name.
That's the work I'm most passionate about now. Helping people untangle the damage that was done to them in spiritual spaces — and figure out who they are on the other side of it.

I've been told I'm direct — but in a way that feels safe, not harsh. I'm not going to tiptoe around things or make you guess what I'm thinking. But I'm also not going to push you somewhere you're not ready to go.
My job is to listen, help you make sense of what you're feeling, and give you tools that actually work in your real life. Not theory. Not worksheets you'll never look at again. Real stuff.
I see clients in person at my Cedar Park office and online throughout Texas via telehealth. Either way you choose to meet me, I make it easy for you.
Most of my sessions are with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, life transitions, or the aftermath of spiritual abuse — but I also work with people dealing with personality disorders like BPD, depression, and the general weight of being human in a world that doesn't slow down.
LET'S TALK
If you're even a little curious whether therapy might help, that's enough.
You don't need the right words. You don't need to know exactly what's wrong.
You just need to show up — I'll take it from there.
